Oksana Madarash is a highly accomplished Ukrainian conductor, known for her exceptional skills and unique conducting style. She has received extensive training in choral conducting, opera and symphony conducting, assistantship and internship at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. Her diverse repertoire spans from operettas to operas and from chamber music to symphonic masterpieces.
She also cooperated with esteemed institutions, including Macedonian National Opera and Ballet, Belgrade National Theatre, Budapest Operetta Theatre, Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theatre (2002–2023) as conductor-director, Kaunas State Musical Theatre (2022–present), National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, International Symphony Orchestra “INSO-Lviv”, and many other Symphonic Orchestras of Ukraine.
In addition to her accomplishments as a conductor, Oksana Madarash serves as president and member of the jury for international competitions.
Her achievements have earned her the greatest title that can be given to an artist in Ukraine: “People’s Artist of Ukraine.”
